Extended Day Options
As TMS teachers look forward to the 15-16 school year, we are excited to present school-day options to supplement our traditional offerings. The new 3:00 pm dismissal time as well as our current extended care options are designed to serve the evolving needs of our parent population while maintaining the high standards you have come to expect from Tuckahoe Montessori School.NEW: Extended Primary Day until 3:00pm Beginning this year, we will offer an extension to the day for our primary students (ages 3 and over) until 3 pm. The Afternoon program and the Lunch Bunch program will remain however your student will now have the option to stay after the conclusion of these programs until 3:00 pm.Primary and Elementary Early Drop-Off Interested parents can now register their Primary or Elementary child for Early Drop-Off at 7:50 am. If you are interested in this option for your toddler, please contact the officeToddler Lunch Bunch This addition was a wonderful success in the 2014-15 school year and we're so excited to make it a TMS tradition! Toddler Lunch Bunch students remain at school, enjoy lunch and a story, and head home at 1:00pm for their nap. If your child is under the age of two, we invite you to talk with us about the ideal time to begin this program.Primary Lunch Bunch Add-On Activities Lunch Bunch Add-On Activities will once again be held each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. As in past years, parents will register directly with the individual organizations providing the programs. Based on parent feedback, Lunch Bunch students are no longer required to participate Add-On Activities.
